Follow these simple steps to create an effective post-purchase upsell with our app.
Step 1: Getting Started
Start by clicking the Create Offer button within the app.
Step 2: Select the Offer Type
In the offer type options, choose Post-Purchase Upsell and click the Select button.
Step 3: Enable In-Cart Upsell in Checkout Settings
To activate the upsell, you’ll need to enable it in your checkout-post purchase settings.
Click the Open Checkout Settings button within the app.
2. A new tab will open with your checkout settings.
Scroll down to the Post-Purchase Page section and select In-Cart Upsell Post-Purchase from the available options.
3. Click the Save button at the top of the page.
4. After saving, return to the app by closing this tab. Click the Refresh button to ensure your changes are updated in the app.
Step 4: Create Your First Post-Purchase Upsell
Now, let’s set up your first Post-Purchase upsell offer!
Click the Select Product button to add the product that you would like to include in the post-purchase offer. Currently only one product can be selected, but we are adding support for multiple products soon!
2. After selecting the product, click Save.
3. Enter a title for the offer. This title is only for internal use and won’t be visible to your customers.
Note: Shopify requires apps to keep the post-purchase offer text to be non-editable. If you need to set up a custom translation, please contact our support team, and we’ll review and add it as an option.

Step 5: Add a Discount (Optional)
To add a discount to your post-purchase upsell, select "Enable Discount."
Choose the discount type that best suits your needs: percentage or fixed amount. After selecting, enter the discount value in the provided text field. The offer text will automatically update to display the discount you're offering.
Step 6: Configure Display Conditions (Optional)
You can specify who will see this offer by setting custom logic in the display conditions section under the Visibility tab:
Go to the Visibility tab and click Add Condition.
Select the condition that best suits your offer’s requirements.

Step 7: Customize Appearance (Optional)
Background and button colors, as well as text, are set by the checkout settings found in the theme editor. As these are the same settings for your standard checkout, they will automatically match with no changes necessary. If you wish to make any changes:
Click the Go to Theme Settings button.
Then click the gear icon on the left.
Customize any colors or text as desired.
Step 8: Publish and Save
Once you’ve finished setting up the offer:
Change the status from Draft to Published.
Click Save at the top of the page.
And that’s it, you’re all set! Your post-purchase upsell is live.
