Before we jump into the content of the article; here is an image of the Advanced tab in its disabled state.
The advanced settings can be disabled for two reasons:
Reason 1
If your theme is supported by the app's default and template settings, the advanced settings will be automatically disabled. This is because you won't need the Dom Selector option provided in the advanced settings tab to determine your offer placement. Instead, you can select your offer placement from the templates available on the placement tab. The advanced settings tab is primarily used for manually configuring settings for unsupported themes.
Reason 2
The advanced settings are disabled when the "Enable Advanced Setting" option is unchecked on the Placement tab.
However, it is important to note that disabling the advanced setting does not affect the custom CSS section. Only the Dom Selector sections are impacted by this.
